Born and raised in San Francisco, Hü carries forward a multigenerational legacy of craftsmanship and community. Inspired by his grandfather, Pablito Gamit, founder of the legendary Gamit Barbershop on Sixth Street, he inherited not only the technical discipline of barbering but also the belief that every person deserves to feel seen, respected, and confident.
After graduating from barber college in 2012, Hü founded YOÜ by Hü in 2015 with a vision to redefine the modern grooming experience. Today, he works as both a barber and image advisor, collaborating with each client to develop a style that reflects who they are and the chapter of life they're stepping into.
With over a decade of experience, Hü combines timeless techniques with contemporary craftsmanship to create intentional, personalized experiences. Every appointment is guided by thoughtful conversation, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to helping clients leave looking and feeling like the most authentic version of themselves.
