Born and raised in San Francisco since 1993, Hü carries forward a multigenerational legacy rooted in craft and community. Inspired by his grandfather, Pablito Gamit, who owned the legendary Gamit Barbershop on 46 Sixth Street, Hü inherited not only technical skill but also a deep commitment to service and connection.
After graduating from barber college in 2012, Hü set out to redefine what a modern grooming experience could be. By 2015, he founded YOÜ by Hü—a concept born from a desire to elevate the art of haircutting into an intentional, bespoke experience.
